Meal Program

The St. Vincent de Paul Society of Milwaukee operates a free Meal Program at two sites, five nights per week on the north side, at 2600 N. 2nd Street, and six nights per week on the south side, at 931 W. Madison Street. Each of the sites serves between 150 and 200 hot, nutritious meals. Guests at the south meal site can also access hot showers and clean clothing. At both sites, guests can obtain warm winter outerwear, join in the fun of various social activities and holiday events.

 Volunteering at the Meal Program

The Meal Program is always in need of volunteers to help with food preparation, dishwashing, food and beverage service, cleaning, laundry, guest relations, shower program assistance (South location only), donation sorting, organizing, office assistance and special projects.

Please lend us your talents, we have a job for every skill set!

St. Vincent de Paul is happy to provide a letter of completion for volunteer hours for school, court, W-2, FSET, GATES, etc.

Did You Know?
In 2017, over 89,000 meals were served; 14,348 of which were to children.   
 
 
We are proud to provide hot showers through our Healing Waters Shower Program at our Cross Roads Kitchen (South) location.
