The store needs volunteers to help in many areas to continue to help us help others. No amount of time given is too small. We always have things to be done. Individuals and groups are welcome.

HANG SORTED CLOTHING
Once clothing has been sorted by employees, it needs to be put on hangers and hung on racks.

HANDY PERSON

Help is needed with basic maintenance and repair. Skilled persons in this area is a must. Asking for two-hour shifts once or twice per month.

SORT CLOTHING AND OTHER DONATIONS
Carts are provided to separate nice items from impractical items.

TEST/CLEAN SMALL APPLIANCES
No special skills required. All appliances need to be plugged in to ensure they work properly.

DONOR GREETERS
Welcome donors and assist in bringing donations into the dock area. Help sort donations. Help is most needed between the hours of 4-6 pm weekdays and all day Saturdays.

CUSTOMER RELATIONS
Welcome and greet customers and assist them to have a positive shopping experience. Get to know the layout of the store so you can guide customers to specific shopping areas. Also help by taking selected items to the registers and customer's vehicles, if necessary. This would also include assisting with gift certificates written by our volunteer groups.

MEAL PROGRAM VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Our Meal Program is always in need of volunteers to help with food preparation, dishwashing, food and beverage service, cleaning, laundry, guest relations, shower program assistance (South location only), donation sorting, organizing, office assistance, and special projects.

Please lend us your talents, we have a job for every skill set!

St. Vincent de Paul is happy to provide a letter of completion for volunteer hours for school, court, W-2, FSET, GATES, etc.
